A friend of mine asked me if I could add some meaning to this picture, so here it is :
I think this one can be classief in the 'on-of-my-better-works' section. It took me 30 mins to finally get the lightning straight ( 30 mins and 27 shots to be exact ) The book is the seventh one in a series of 10 by Robert Jordan, The wheel of time. Best fantasy classic ever if you ask me
The watch is a real Gt. Rosskopf 41 jewels handheld ( it used to have a golden chain too, but I can't seem to find it ). that's about it
just great... the detail and monochromatic colour settings are complementing eachother perfectly... the symbols of time and wisdom... maybe the shadow of the watch could be a little thinner, but it could also be that I am nitpicking now...

Yeah I've been pondering over that shadow myself for hours Glad you like it
I scanned trough your works myself and I must say I'm truly impressed, are you a macro photographer too ?
Macro wannabe, because I only use old 28-90mm kit lens from film EOS 300, 75-300mm the cheap one and 18-55mm kit lens from 300D. I've been looking through macro lenses, but still haven't decided which one to buy... I also will shoot car racing so been looking for something in 100-400 class... where do I get the money for all this? nowhere! LOL!

héhéhé yeah I guess one has to save allot when one's hobby is photography
My dad's a dentist and he uses my camera for dental photography, resulting in me getting to use all the macro lenses he has to buy
Kit lens that came with my EOS 300D, EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6... I bring the lens as close as it can focus (cca 28 cm) and then use 55mm focal length to get the format full with the water... sometimes I have to crop to get the format right, but almost always my table is all wet, and so is the filter on the lens... wet shots these are...

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
